Just got back from our first yoga class. I hadn’t realized that the studio we were going to was also where my friend Liza and her husband do Pilates, and ran into them while they were going into their tough class and we were going to our wussy little introductory yoga class for babies. We didn’t end up going for the hot/Bikram yoga, since we thought that might be too much for us just starting out, though we may ramp up to that eventually. Instead, we did Hatha yoga, which…well, whatever, we didn’t get into the whole theory of yoga in the hour and a quarter we were there, but it seemed like a mellow way to stretch and tone and all that jazz. It didn’t feel like I was really doing anything while the class was happening, but now I feel a kind of nice, deep tiredness. (Though I think I thought it would be more of a sweaty workout, which it wasn’t, really. If I do the yoga for a while and like it, I might graduate to Pilates.)
Glark and Toque and I all agreed that we liked it and will go again. Especially since we all bought the mats and shit, so now we’re kind of committed.
And, I did seven H!ITG! profiles for the book. Woot.

My entry has a better title.
True.
Therefore I *win*.
Don’t make it all competitive. You’re ruining yoga.
