Remember when I was going to get a haircut? Well, I did.
I’m not going to lie: I waited to take a photo until after I got through a breakout (some evidence of which is still visible at right). So far, I’m pretty happy with it, though I’m still playing around with different styling products and timing — styling cream before blow-drying? After? Both? Cream first and then pomade after? So many silly options!
I think when I go back, I might get him to cut in a few more messy layers; my hair is so thick that when it lies too smooth, it looks like a wig. I will also probably trim my bangs before we leave on The Atomic Tour because having too much weight on my forehead in the desert will make me INSANE. It just about did me in today, and that was just on the admittedly extremely hot and humid streets of New York. But it’ll probably be like twenty degrees hotter in Arizona and I don’t want to pass out like I almost did today.
Anyway, in case anyone needed closure on the issue of my hair, you have it, and you’re welcome.

Yeah, when it’s really flippy I look like I’m Madeline, from the books. It’s why I don’t wear my yellow hat anymore.
It makes you look chic, like those effortless girls that can just roll out of bed looking pulled-together. I know it probably takes a while with all the pomade and what-not, but it doesn’t look like it does. Did that make any sense?
Also, you look fantastic! The gym, healthy-lifestyle thing must really be working!

As cute as this photo is, it doesn’t really do justice to how cute the cut is in person, in my opinion.
