Thanks to Valleywag for this post, highlighting a bunch of different tech uber-geeks when they were young and cute. And they WERE young and cute — especially my boy Bill Gates. All three of the times Microsoft aired that terrible ad with Jerry Seinfeld, I couldn’t help giggling at Gates’s adorable mug shot, which I’ve loved for years.
But I had no idea how much juvenile Gates cuteness I’ve been denied all these years! Yeah, I am still ensorcelled by the yellow-tinted lenses, the jaunty floral button-down under the Star Trek-esque t-shirt/sweater affair, and the goony grin. But none of that prepared me for how adorable Li’l Bill was in his high-school graduation gown!
The bowl cut…it’s killing me softly.
