A Classy Problem

PROBLEM: The only part of the Thanksgiving dinner you won’t be having that you really care about is pumpkin pie, so you want to buy a pumpkin pie, but you married someone who doesn’t like pumpkin pie, but the store doesn’t have mini pumpkin pies, but buying a regular-size pumpkin pie means that you basically are going to end up eating an entire pumpkin pie. WHAT DO YOU DO?

Pumpkin Pie

SOLUTION: Just buy a pie, Hamlet, damn.

You definitely buy the pie. Don’t forget the whipped cream.

And then you divorce the monster who doesn’t like pumpkin pie.

I sympathize. I have exactly the same problem.

Oh don’t worry, I bought it. One slice down.

As a transplanted Canadian are you not entitled to two pies/year?

I fail to see how “eating a whole pumpkin pie by yourself” is a problem. To my way of thinking, it sounds like a solution.

I was going to say that I have the same problem, but it’s more accurate to say I’m in the same situation. I have no problem with eating an entire pumpkin pie. And as a Canadian, she should be up for _3_ pies (pumpkin pie also being commonly served at xmas as well. Wait. maybe we’re why there’s a pumpkin pie filling shortage…)

I refuse to be the villain here.

A vegetarian who doesn’t like pumpkin pie? That seems so wrong. Deport him!

Eat the whole thing and your body will appreciate all that vitamin A.
